July's final devotion- The bold move of surrender and sacrifice!

What does it look like when someone is bold enough to face the very thing set out to destroy them? Running toward a heavily armed giant is insane. But only having a bag of rocks as your defense is a death wish. However, monsters are defeated because someone was bold enough to die for the win. They were all in for the cause!

The other morning I woke to this thought, “Jesus has power over death because of death.” He died for the win. Our win!

Areas where we have faced pain, endured trauma, or felt loss, create authority in us and over them. We were not just held to the flame, we walked into the furnace and put the fire out with our faith!

The trial you are going through right now is developing authority over your giant. Empowering you to slay dragons that have been hunting you or those you love.

When we overcome an obstacle we become an expert in it. When we learn from loss, we become educated on the topic. And when we survive traumatic events we become advocates. (Read that again. Some of you need to get bold and use your voice!)

Each situation creates authority because of the pain. Like a bone, our healed, brokenness strengthens and hardens us in times of difficulty. Isaiah 41:10

Whatever you faced or are facing now, remember, death was defeated because our King was willing to die. The key word here is not death, but a willingness to die for the win!

Be bold sisters. Consider your life as an investment. Offer it up for the cause of the King. Offer your pain, trauma, brokeness and betrayals to the only one who can turn those messes into weapons against the enemy.

“Jesus said to all of his followers, “If you truly desire to be my disciple, you must disown your life completely, embrace my ‘cross’ as your own, and surrender to my ways.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭9‬:‭23‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Keep in mind that we who belong to Jesus Christ have already experienced crucifixion. For everything connected with our self-life was put to death on the cross and crucified with Messiah.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭24‬ ‭TPT‬‬
